And the Little One Said "Rollover, Rollover"

One....

Two.......

Three!!!!!

Eden and pachyderm's staring contest turned into her first tine rolling over all by herself without the help of the slanted couch. Too bad I didn't have the video on!

Beach Feet

Here's a few pictures from our walk at the beach on Sunday evening. It was really fun, but I want to go back when it's not almost sunset so we can stay longer.

Prayers

Looks like Eden is folding her arms and ready for prayers!

Rain, Rain, Go Away

It rained here all last week. I was fine the first day, but then I get annoyed with rain. Russell loves it, but I don't. I like the smell after, but I don't enjoy the rain. If it's just in the evening fine, but not ALL DAY. Anyway....it lasted all week. Luckily, we didn't have any flooding. However, I guess there was a tornado warning while Eden and I were over partying at Courtney's one day. We had no clue. Whoops! I never heard any sirens...I don't even know if they have sirens here. Oh well.

The only positive thing? Rain makes for good pictures!

Giraffe in a Box

We finally put Eden in her giraffe outfit and she's super cute! Then she got fussy for no reason and Russell was putting together her dresser, so I put her in one of the drawers and she was happy as can be! Silly giraffe.

For Aunt Sissy

I finally remembered to take a picture in her pandas!

Jungle Friends

Eden talks ALL the time now! She will sit and talk to me all day, and I feel like I have to talk to her but I run out of things to say! Anyway, she's also starting to pay attention to toys and things. The other day I put her in her swing and she found the lion and tiger that hang down and just chatted away at them. Here's a video of her chat. She was talking a TON more before I got the camera out....but as usual she stops as soon as I get the camera! She talked and talked for about 45 minutes.

The Many Faces of Eden

I was needing a picture of Eden the other day, and I was trying to get her to smile, but instead I got these faces!

The Chipmunk

Scary Eyes

Silly Tongue

Snuggles

Sometimes you just need some snuggles.....

Two Months

Eden is two and a half months old already! She's getting sooooo big. She is most happy in the morning after just getting up; she will coo and coo and smile and smile for about an hour and a half. She's also really happy in the bath, we just have to start running the water and she happy's right up! She likes to lay on the floor or couch and wiggle, and she's figured out how to kick enough to move from one end of her crib to the other during the night. And...she smiles and smiles when we come in to get her from her crib. And really, who can resist this smile?

Here's some pictures I took just after we went to our fancy photo shoot the other day. I love the ruffles!

And look at those precious toes!

I can't believe how big she is getting. She had to get four shots at the doctor today, and she did great. She cried a little, but once I picked her up she calmed down. However, I think it's bugging her because she has been quite fussy. Thank goodness for some Tylenol and naps! Here's her 10 week stats:

  • 11 lbs 2 oz - 50th percentile
  • 23.5 inches - 50th percentile
  • 39 cm head - 50th percentile
So....it looks like she is just your average girl!

Face Bugs

Eden always has her hands up in her face. Sometimes she swats around and it makes me think that she's trying to get bugs off her face or something. Silly girl. Here's a video of it. Terrible lighting, and there's Iron Chef America on in the background, but oh well.

Random Other Pictures

Here's just a few more random pictures from the rest of our trip.

Eden in the hat Grandma made for her.

Loving Grandma.

Trying to figure out this Grandpa.

Sleeping on Mommy at Grandma's store. All of the customers LOVED Eden.

Angel Fire Sledding

Monday we found a nice hill and went sledding. It was so fun! I couldn't wait to go sledding, so I'm glad we got to.

Emma sledding the in red torpedo! She always would get in and then say "hold on tight, hold on tight" until you handed her the string. One time grandma pushed her without giving her the string and she screamed "I'm not holding on tight!" the whole way down the hill!

Adelaide in the cool old-fashioned sled.

Trying to fit into the kids sled. It was really tight and uncomfortable, but I managed.

Ta-da!

Then Rachel squished in too!

There she goes!

Eden needed a turn. Hold on tight!

Then I took Eden in the torpedo and here we are right before we tipped over and fell out. No worries though. I slid out on my back and Eden never even knew we crashed!

Me and Adelaide after we got the big sleds from the store.

Rachel and Emma. Emma slid off at the end!

Russell and Adelaide crashing.

Grandma and Emma taking a spill.

Rachel going skeleton-style.

And me skeletoning!

Next time we go down? Snowboarding! I wanted to learn this time, but Kenneth didn't have his stuff with him.

A Family Walk

Sunday after church we all bundled up to go for a nice walk in the neighborhood. We were only out for about 1/2 an hour, but that was long enough to get cold! We had lots of fun with Camille's girls.

Adelaide helping Rachel spread some alfalfa out for the deer before we left for our walk.

Izzy wanted to hold everyone's hand. First was Uncle Kenneth.

Emma loved the walk until the end of the driveway!

Adalaide and Aunt Rachel.

The scenery. I saw the moon out and had to get a picture.

Time to hold Uncle Russell's hand.

Eden all bundled up in her fancy coat. Daddy thought she looked like a gingerbread man.

Izzy got tired of walking and thought it was so fun to play with her stick in the snow.

Grandpa, Izzy, and Adelaide.

Then Adelaide found a tempting mud puddle. Oh how fun!

Grandma's nose and chin were cold!

Grandpa keeping Adelaide from more mud puddles.

Oh no! Uncle Kenneth got her!
