Cookie Monster

One night last week we had a nurse come over to do some blood tests and things for supplemental life insurance. It was time for Eden to have a bath and go to bed, but since both of us needed to be there that was just not possible. So....I stripped her down to her diaper, put her in the high chair, and handed her an Oreo. And....I think she liked it!

Eight Months

I'm a little late with this post...yet again. But Eden hit the eight month mark and is caterpillar crawling like nobody's business. She loves to stand up by the furniture and also has learned how to clap! She is all about saying "dadadada" but doesn't really know what it means yet. I'm still trying to teach her. And...she figured out how to climb the stairs.

Yay!!!!

Yummy grass.

Here I come!

Last Trip to the Beach

When Eden and I went back to California for the movers, we went to the beach one last time. It was a little bit cloudy, and thus a little chilly for the girls. But...it was a great day to just sit and watch the waves.

Eden loved to play in the sand.

Loving the beach.

Beach model!
Cute girls!

Back in Utah

My lack in blogging has been due to moving back to Utah from California. Russell got a job in Salt Lake and the move happened very quickly (much quicker than it was supposed to!). We all drove up on 30th and spent the week with Caleb and Holly. Eden and I flew back for the next few days for the movers to come and pack and load and get the house cleaned and things. We loved getting to stay with and play with Courtney and Ava. However, throughout the whole process Eden was not sleeping, which was quite frustrating! We got through it however, and by the time we got back to Utah they had delivered our stuff to Russell and he had the necessities unpacked and ready to go. Eden did good on the plane too, as long as she could stand up at my feet. She didn't like it when I had to hold her to take off and land.

Russell loves his new job working on the KSL website. The house is getting organized, but it's taking longer since Eden thinks we need to play with her! We are enjoying being by more family, but are definitely missing our friends and the nice weather in California!

San Diego Anniversary

Russell and I headed down to San Diego for our third anniversary. We left Eden for a sleepover with Aunt Courtney, Uncle Ben, and Ava. We headed to the temple first to do a session, then had a great dinner at Olive Garden.

The next day we went to the zoo and the Wild Animal Park with our season passes. We had lots of fun just being together, but we missed Eden a lot too.

Baby Flamingos! They were soooo cute!

I was really excited that the polar bear exhibit was open now and we could see them! They were play fighting, which was super cool. We watched for like half an hour.

And there were super cute baby elephants at the animal park!
