The Ellusive Ice Cube

We gave Eden an ice cube on her high chair tray the other night while we ate dinner and she tried and tried to pick it up, but couldn't. Eventually she got upset that she couldn't.

The Forgotten Movie

I thought I had posted this, but apparently I haven't. So here's Eden the first time she figured out that Peek-a-boo was funny.

5 Months

I can't believe Eden is already 5 months old. And this post is late.....which means she is closer to 6! She is growing up so fast. She weighs about 15 lbs and is growing out of her 6 month footie jammies!

Eden is starting to sit up, although she still falls over quite a bit. She has started eating rice cereal, which after a couple of days she realized was absolutely delicious! And.....we call her Grabby Hands. She wants to touch everything, especially if it isn't her, and eat it!

She is always talking, and is trying out new sounds like high pitched squeals. She laughs a lot.....especially when Daddy is around. He is the most hilarious Daddy there ever could be!

Here's more pictures from our 5 month photo shoot at the park:

Yay for sitting up!

Whoops! Still working on that sitting up thing.

What is this silly grass?

Mom....there's a birdy up there!

I think she's going to be a linebacker.....really she's happy, but you couldn't tell by that face.

Silly face. At first we thought it was because she was teething and her gums hurt.....but it's been a week or so and no teeth, but still the face. It means both happy and sad depending on the situation.

Eating the flowers.

Silly smile!

Reading the Mail

Eden loves to go on a walk and get the mail, and now she loves to touch anything that isn't really hers, so give her junk mail to tear up. She loves to "read" the mail!

Easter

Eden's first Easter was nothing big....but I think she had fun anyway. She found her basket and tried to eat everything inside!

Daddy helping Eden look for her basket. Where could that bunny have put it?

She found it!

Reading her new book, Horns to Toes, and loving her bunny.

Eating an Easter egg!

Conference Visitors

Russell's mom, step-dad, and brother came up from Albuquerque to visit for Conference weekend. We had fun listening to conference and playing in between. We went on a walk, played games, and ate tons of food.

Playing with Uncle Kenneth!

Grandma has a great iPhone!

Who wouldn't love a Grandpa with a bottle?

Another Grandpa!

Eden got to see all of her grandparents in the month of March. It was a little crazy having all the company, but it was fun too. Russell's Dad came up just for the weekend before Easter and we spent Sunday with him. We didn't get to go do anything, but we went to church, played games, and had fun just visiting.

Eden wore her Easter dress since Easter Sunday would be conference.

Loving Grandpa!

Come back soon!

Final Moments

A few pictures from the last day together, just hanging out until everyone left.

Happy with Grandpa!

Getting loves from Grandma and Grandpa.

Kisses from Jack.

Jack saying hi to Eden. I think he couldn't figure out why she just stayed in the same place rather than running around like him.

I shared my pickle with Jack and he loved it!

First Haircut

Grandma gave Jack his first haircut the morning she left.....he was NOT a fan!

Girls Night

The last night everyone was here all the girls decided we were going to dye/highlight our hair!

Cooper all pulled through her cap and ready to get dye!

Cymbre cooking.

A little worried about dying my hair red!
Holly being really brave letting Cooper dye her!

Mom going lighter!

Britni highlighted hers too, but I must have been busy when that was happening because I didn't get a picture.

Family Pictures

While everyone was here mom had us all go and get family pictures.

Everyone! Grandpa looks a little upset, but oh well.

Our little family.

The perfect couple!

Cousins!

Bath Time

Jack helped Uncle Russell give Eden a bath....

And then he got his own!

San Diego Zoo

On Friday we all went down to the San Diego Zoo. Russell even took off work to come with us! Cymbre and Dad fed some more rhinos, and we all enjoyed seeing the animals.

The koala bears were still tired....sleep, sleep, sleep.

Eden loved riding on my shoulders. It will be easier when she can hold on on her own.

Sis loved the pandas. Luckily, I sell my pictures for only $100 each!

A mommy panda sleeping really silly, with the baby panda up top in the hammock.

Jack looking at the hippo butts under the water.

The big hike up to see the elephants!

This panther kept growling and panting. Jack thought that was really neat.

The pachyderms!

They were washing some of the elephants feet.

A flying break!

Crazy camel that was spitting on people.
A porcupine that the zoo worker brought out for the Behind the Scene people to see.

Waiting to see Dad and Cymbre feed the rhinos.

Hungry....

Eden meeting the giraffes!
