Belly Shots

I can't believe I'm actually doing this, because I said I never would, but everyone seems to want to see pictures of my progressing belly. So here goes:

15 Weeks

25 1/2 Weeks

Mind the Gap

I've been wanting a Mind the Gap shirt for a while....since I knew they actually made them in England, but I haven't managed to procure one until now. Just a couple of days before our 2nd anniversary (which happens to be the cotton anniversary) Russell randomly asked me "If you could have one thing from England what would it be?" and amazingly I didn't even have to think, I immediately said a Mind the Gap shirt. So....he managed to get one and I'm soooooo excited!

Scrapbooking Summer

This summer I've been trying to get a lot of scrapbooking done so I'm ready to do the baby's! I'm mostly working on Caleb's mission to get that done, but I do a page for our scrapbook here and there too. Here's what I've done lately:

Our first dance. I still need to add the lyrics to From This Moment by Shania Twain.

My graduation.

Cute pictures of Jack.

And here's the mission ones:

Playing Barbies

While hanging out at Caleb and Holly's Saturday night, Caleb and Russell played Warcraft together while Holly and I attempted to do some scrapbooking. At one point Caleb was saying something about getting more armor that matched what he already had and Russell responded with "If you're going to do that, you might as well just play Barbies!" From across the room I had to second guess what was really said....but yup, that's what he said! So now I'm pretty sure Warcraft will be referred to as Barbies!

Jack the USB Port

Jack seems to love anything electronic. I give him my old mouse when he's here and he's completely happy. We went over to hang out with Caleb and Holly on Friday night and Jack wanted to play with Russell's mouse....and Russell actually let him! I was surprised. But....when it came time to play Warcraft Caleb got Jack an old mouse to play with. And then.....he decided he was a USB port and put the USB thing into his mouth. Russell was hoping we could then control him using the mouse, but I don't think that would have worked.

Children's Place

I went to Children's Place last week because Keera said they were having a big sale.....and so they were! It was like an extra 40% off clearence items. I got these two outfits and shoes for only $17!

Stealing Jack's Suckie

4th of July Festivities

For the 4th of July we hosted the festivities at our house. Caleb, Holly, Jack, Carlie, and Cari came over and we mostly just enjoyed our day relaxing and having fun.

Some people played games:

1960:Making of the President. A perfect game for the 4th of July!
Cari and Carlie thought they were winning....too bad Holly killed them in the end!

Others talked computer programming (or possibly Warcraft):

And others had fun just crawling around:

Trying to figure out how to crawl through the piano leg...never quite got it though.

Playing with Uncle Russell's favorite train! Haha. Russell doesn't really like the train....it sings songs, drives across the floor, and the animals make clicking noises when you move their legs. Apparently it is annoying, but I guess it doesn't bother me.

Then he found some crinkly paper. All you have to get him as a present is a piece of paper! He'd really enjoy a whole ream!

We changed our clothes because we threw-up everywhere after choking on some apple juice and put on these Rhinos for Aunt Cymbre.

And then I tried to steal his suckie from him....and it turns out it's hilarious.....but my camera takes too big of video to upload so I'll have to figure something else out.

Then we had some delicious hamburgers and hotdogs, chips, and soda, and even a few grapes and strawberries! And.....of course, S'mores!

Both original.....

And mint! Thanks to this book that I found in the bookstore and Caleb bought for Holly:

And the night ended on this note:
We were going to go watch the fireworks in Provo, but I was toooooo tired. We tried to see them out our window but it's not at the right angle. I hear the Stadium of Fire fireworks were horrible this year though, so I guess we didn't miss much. For now....I will anticipate the fireworks next year!

Baby Update...Again

So....everything is going great with the baby. The doctor did change my due date to October 29th after the ultrasound measurements were a little smaller than they should have been for 20 weeks. I'm really hoping she doesn't come on Halloween.....and Russell is hoping she does! Ugh.

Other than that, I'm getting bigger and more tired. And...I'm convinced that she is the most mobile baby in the womb EVER! She is CONSTANTLY moving and kicking/punching. Sometimes she hits me with both legs and both arms at the same time!

Newport Beach Temple

While we were in California, we took a few minutes Sunday afternoon before coming home to walk around the grounds of hte Newport Beach temple. Russell really likes this temple....it is beautiful. I'm more excited to be only an hour away from the San Diego temple!

The landscaping was beautiful too....as normal.

And my camera takes AMAZING pictures of flowers close up!

My favorite picture! Gotta love the palm trees!

And this one is for my Dad, since he seems to love the Anteaters!

Ladera Ranch

Here's some pictures of the neighborhood we're looking to live in in California.

There are tons of walkways like this around. Great for walking, running, or biking! Now Rachel can come and visit. As if Disneyland was not reason enough!

A cool rock statue/water feature. It's hard to see the water in the picture though.

A cute little walkway covering thing. I'm sure it has a name that I don't know. There are tons of cute places like this to take pictures. Now I just have to figure out all the intricacies of my camera.

A pavilion at the park.

A really nice, COVERED, park a couple blocks from the house!

And there's picnic tables all over the place. Definitely going to have to have some picnics!

California, here we come!

So....it appears that we will be moving to California sometime the beginning of August. It's been a surprising month to say the least! We will be moving to the Irvine area, and we went down this last weekend to look for a place to live.

We were quite concerned Saturday night after we hadn't really found anything. Of course, there were things that we could make work, but nothing we were really happy about. However....on Sunday we went a little farther south to a community called Ladera Ranch and LOVED it! We found several options within the community of townhomes we could rent and we got all excited to live in a nice place. There's parks, pools, splash parks, close shopping, close church, etc. It's a great place to walk around, and the people seemed like younger families about our age. Here's some pictures of the houses we looked at.

Not a house for sale, but Russell really liked it, and it gives an idea of what the community is like. Most of the houses are actually two townhomes put together, one on top and one on bottom.

Also not for sale, but my favorite one. The whole community has these cute houses!

The front of our 2nd choice right now. Our part would be the top and the entrance is around back, which is a little wierd.

The back of our 2nd choice. We would have the 1 car garage and carport. The bedrooms are upstairs to the left and the kitchen/living area is to the right of the balcony.

Walkway to the front door of our first choice. These are more townhomey looking and are in a different part of the community. We love the cute houses, but this one has more living room space which is important. And...the kids could play right outside the front on these sidewalks.

First choice. A cute little townhome with three stories and a little porch. I like all the trees that make it shady! The master bedroom is on the 2nd floor, and then the second bedroom is on the third. Also...there's a two car garage with tons of storage space for board games and food storage!

Now if we could only figure out what to do with our house in Spanish Fork!
