Waiting For Sissy

Thursday morning we all hung out waiting for Britni to get to the airport so we could go to the beach!

Eden loves Aunt Holly, but she was quite upset that Sissy wasn't here yet!

Jack checking in on Eden.

Grilled cheese is always more delicious on the stairs.

Eden passes the time by holding on to her fingers to make sure they don't fall off.

Jack loved the screen door....he could open and close it himself!

Disneyland with the Gimps

Wednesday we went to Disneyland....and since we had to rent a wheelchair for the girls since they are gimps we got to go to the front of a lot of lines! It was awesome! It was pretty crowded since Spring Breaks are starting, but the wheelchair let us get in a lot more rides than we could have otherwise.

We saw Buzz after we went on his ride and Cooper killed us with her score. Although, I think I had a disadvantage since Eden was "helping" me.

The girls first ride on the teacups. Courtney and I went in one with the babies and didn't spin. Mom, Cooper, and Cymbre were next to us spinning like crazy!

Eden and Ava having a best friends loving moment.

Grandma and Eden met the Fairy Godmother while the rest of us went to ride the Matterhorn.

We stood in line to meet Tinkerbell.....

And Sleeping Beauty.

In California Adventure the Monster's Inc. ride is great. It's so real to the movie and makes you feel like you are part of it.

And I got the girls to go on Big Thunder Mountain with me....and they liked it! They wanted to go again, but we had so much other stuff we wanted to do.

Overall....it was a great day at Disney.

La Brea Tar Pits

On Tuesday of their visit, my Dad took us all up to the La Brea Tar Pits. It was a really neat place with all the fossils of animals that were stuck in the Tar Pits. And...you could watch workers clean fossils that were newly found in the pits. They are working on a Columbian Mammoth named Zed right now.

Eden showing her muscles pulling a heavy weight out of the tar.

The pelvic bone of a mammoth. All I can say is it would have been a lot easier to give birth with a pelvis that big!

A really big mammoth.

A Condor.

Eeek! That Sabertooth tiger is about to eat Eden.

A Tar Pit that they've been working on since like 1915. The flags mark where things are that they've found and are working on getting out.

Grandpa making Eden a penny for her collection.

Cooper, Eden, and Cymbre waiting while Dad and I re-parked the cars in the right parking lot.

And on the way home we stopped at the L.A. Temple since it was just down the road.

Aunts are Fun

Eden had a great time playing with her Aunts.

Eden and Aunt Cymbre playing with the giraffe Aunt Cymbre made for her at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.

Trying on Aunt Cooper's hat.

Kisses!

Whale-Watching

On Monday Mom, Cooper, Eden, and I went Whale-Watching in Dana Point while Dad and Cymbre went down to feed the Rhinos in San Diego. We didn't end up seeing any whales, but being on the boat was fun and we did see some other sea life.

Waiting to get on the boat.

A crazy house on a cliff.

A buoy of sea lions.

Some dolphins coming up for air.

A House Invaded

My whole family was in town last week for the girls spring break and we had tons of fun.

Playing Uno Moo. Eden made Daddy draw two and then draw two and then draw two!

Stomp matched Cooper's outfit!

Loving Aunt Cooper.

A Grandma and Grandpa!

We went down to the San Clemente Pier and there was a surfing contest going on.

And a crazy big pelican posing for pictures!

The family at the pier (I was taking the picture and Grandpa was down the pier looking at something).

Coming out to ROAR at Grandpa after a bath.

Bathtime Evolves

Eden has loved bath time since she was about 3 weeks old. As soon as we turn the water on she gets so excited. The other night I though she would like it if she could sit up in the bath, but since we're not quite to sitting up on our own, I got the Bumbo for her to sit in. Turns out though, the Bumbo floats and turned into a motorboat once Daddy got home in the middle of her bath.

Then we just let her lay down and she figured out how to splash. She loved being all the way in the water and splashed and splashed and splashed!

And now we have to splash during EVERY bath.
