My Nephew is Cuter than Yours

We babysat Jack again today so Caleb and Holly could finish moving. Maybe they should move every week! Here's more pictures of Jack and what we did today.

Playing on the floor when he first came over.

Sleepy Baby. Most people don't sleep with their hands above their head, but whatever.

Sleeping again. He only slept for about 15 minutes the first time. It's so cute how he holds onto your hand when he snuggles.
I'm pretty sure he was trying to punch me, but I was too far away. Haha Jack!

Jack's Saturday

Today I babysat Jack most of the day so Caleb and Holly could move the stuff from their storage unit to their new apartment. We had fun while he was here. He's getting pretty talkative these days.....always cooing. He's pretty smiley too, which makes him tons of fun. Oh....and he's cute! Here's a couple pictures of playing on the floor time.

He has something to say....he's even raising his hand politely.

These toys are delicious. You have to put them in his hand for him, but then he likes them!

We get to play again next Saturday while Caleb and Holly finish moving all the big furniture to the new place! Yay!

Finally a New Phone!

Since we've been married, I've still been on my parents family plan. It hasn't been a big deal because my parents didn't have a need for the phone, but it's kind of annoying to have a Houston number. We've been talking about getting a family plan for months and months.....maybe even a year now, and we finally did it today! We did it online after going to the store and finding that it was more expensive there and they had terrible customer service, so I don't have the phone yet. But.....I'm super excited for a new phone! Hopefully it will be here by the end of the week and then I will tell the people who need to know my new number!

Apple's Competitive Advantage

We just did a case on Apple in my strategy class, but I should have mentioned their boxes when we were talking about their competitive advantages. This weekend we went down to St. George for one of Russell's cousins wedding and his Mom and Doctor brought me these two Mac boxes!!!! I thought they had thrown them away, so I was so happy to get them! Now I have five. This might seem weird, but you can do great things with Mac boxes.........

Like put all your scrapbooking paper and supplies in them! I LOVE them for this. The boxes are just the right size that the paper doesn't get bent and since they are heavy plastic/cardboard they are nice and sturdy. My only problem is they don't fit in my new cubbies.....I'm still working that out.

A Surprise for Eric

Today after class I went on a secret trip for Keera. She wanted to surprise Eric at his work with a Valentine's present. She made him a super-cute candy bar letter on poster board this morning and I delivered it to Eric at work. Apparently he was embarrassed, but he really didn't seem like it.....at least until I told him he had to take a picture.....and then a second one because the first one was way too blurry. The final picture didn't turn out great either, I realized tonight that I didn't have the flash on! Sorry Eric! It was really fun to be part of the secret plan, and I think he loved it even if he was embarrassed!

New Outfits

Thursday night Russell took me shopping to find a new outfit since I haven't bought myself an outfit in FOREVER. We went to the Provo Towne Center Mall and went through all the normal stores and didn't find anything. For some reason even though it's snowy and cold all the stores have summer clothes out! Anyway....then we saw a store called Urban Trends and found these super cute skirts in there. We couldn't decide which one was cuter, so we bought both! I also got the turquoise shirt......the brown one I already had.

Not the best pictures in the world, but you get the idea. Maybe I will model them sometime and take better pictures.

Proof

Here's some proof that Russell will actually hold a baby! I'm feeling a little better about having our own now (that's not an announcement Shelly!) since I know they won't be neglected by their father.

Family Pictures

We went to Sears this weekened while the whole family was here for family pictures. Here's some of them.

The Whole Family

Me and Russell

Caleb, Holly, and Jack

And....a funny face one. I love Holly's expression like "I don't know where this baby came from!" Haha.

Family Weekend

This weekend was full of family and fun since everyone was here for Jack's Baby Blessing today. Here's some pictures to share the events.

We went over to Caleb and Holly's to have dinner (Papa John's!) and get some snuggles in while we waited for my family to get here Friday night.

Sis (Britni) got in from Tulsa first. Caleb ran up to the airport to get her since Mom and Dad's plane was late and she got some snuggles in before Grandma came and stole Jack away!
Sidenote: That's the outfit Russell and I got him (well, one of them) and he fits into it pretty good now.

Grandma holding Jack for the first time. And there's Memphis his Hippo, I'm not sure why Memphis came up from downstairs, but he did.

All my sister's stayed at our house and Russell and Cymbre modeled their matching Wall-e pajamas Mom made them for Christmas.

This is how Cooper slept. With her arm hanging off the couch and the pillow on top of her. Haha. Then.....she woke up the next morning because she lifted her arm up in her sleep and hit it on the coffee table. I heard a thump and an "owwwwww" from the kitchen and knew exactly what happened!

And Cymbre ended up on the floor at the bottom of the stairs even though there was a love seat and a huge bean bag.

Grandpa giving Jack a ride on his shoulders. He also did Superman. It took a few tries to get the shoulder ride since Jack doesn't understand yet that he needs to spread his legs in order to get on Dad's shoulders.

Grandma and Jack. He looks so cute peeking over her shoulder. He must have been looking at his Daddy or Mommy.

Playing Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries with Dad. He really wanted to play since he went through a lot of trouble to get it for us while he was in Norway. After a few turns Dad got the hang of it and he ended up doing really well.

Cymbre holding Jack.

Coop holding Jack.

Dad reading Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs to Jack. Here he's doing the "Dinosaur's Strong" page. These books by Sandra Boynton are so fun and my Dad LOVES them. He would read them Cooper and Cymbre and he does all sorts of voices and actions. Really you have to see it in person to get the full effect.

Playing Scattergories.

Russell and Caleb playing Agricola instead of Scattergories.

We gave Cooper Wasabi for her birthday which is on Tuesday and Russell taught the girls how to play it.

Caleb, Holly, and Jack after the blessing this morning.
